Michael L. "Sully" Sullivan is a partner in the law firm of Andersen, Tate & Carr, where he heads up the Zoning, Land Use & Government Relations practice. Mr. Sullivan is active in the Metro Atlanta community, serving on the board of directors of the Council for Quality Growth and the Gwinnett Open Land Trust and as Chairman of the Gwinnett County Water & Sewer Authority. Mr. Sullivan is an active member of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Council, the Georgia Property Rights Coalition, Republican National Lawyers Association and the Federalist Society. Mr. Sullivan has twice been named to James Magazine's annual list of "Georgia Super Lawyers."

Mr. Sullivan served on the Board of the University of Georgia School of Law's Younger Law Alumni Committee and has worked to raise funds for various civic and community organizations, including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society and the Gwinnett Children’s Shelter.

Mr. Sullivan is a “Double Dawg” having received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.

Mr. Sullivan and his wife, Rebecca, have two children: Grace and Nash. The Sullivans live in Lilburn and attend Grace Fellowship Church in Snellville.

Mr. Sullivan was appointed to the State Board of Technical and Adult Education by Governor Sonny Perdue in 2007 to represent the Seventh Congressional District and currently serves as Chairman of the External Affairs and Economic Development Committee and as a member of the Operations and Technology Committee.
