Two students enrolled in Advanced ATC’s control tower operator course at Valdosta Technical College are the first to gain the hands-on experience in a local air traffic control tower.
Jennifer Pierce and Jeremy Stout both recently passed a written test to qualify for advancement from control tower simulator training to on-the-job training in a live air traffic control tower. The test included questions about rules, regulations, vocabulary, and important elements of the profession.
WALB recently featured the two students in a story posted here: Air traffic control brings opportunity |
