Position:
Electronics
Technology Instructor/Part-time/Dougherty Campus

Position Summary: Under general supervision, prepares lesson plans and deliver classroom and online instructions for all Electronics courses; develops syllabi; evaluates students’ progress and maintain certification requirements as appropriate; assist with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts for the program; additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications: A bachelors degree from an ABET accredited program in Electronic/Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or closely related field; and three (3) years experience in-field within the past seven years. Work experience must include the competencies, skills, and knowledge levels included in the electronics technology curriculum. The candidate must have a strong commitment for developing the technical abilities of students. The ideal candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule of day and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications: In addition to the minimum qualifications, a masters degree in a related field and one (1) year experience in an educational environment. Curriculum and laboratory development is a plus.
