| GET INVOLVED IN STUDENT LIFE
As part of our mission to prepare Georgia citizens for the workforce, students are encouraged to participate in the student organizations that are available in their respective technical college. Participation in these organizations will equip them with the leadership skills necessary to succeed in the workplace.
Student Organizations at Georgia's Technical Colleges
The five student organizations below are active statewide, although not every organization has chapters at each technical college. Additional clubs based on programs of study or professional fields are also available.
Some student organizations offer local, state, and national competitions in the students' field of study. Every year the Department of Technical and Adult Education (DTAE) offers the Fall Leadership Conference where over 800 students come together to enhance their professional skills.
