Accelerated Career Pathways: Graduate Ahead of the Game
Accelerated Career Pathways give eligible students an exciting opportunity to fast-track their education. With this program, students can earn both a high school diploma and one of the following:
- An Associate of Applied Science Degree
- A Technical Diploma
- A program certification leading to licensure
- Two approved Technical Certificates of Credit (TCCs)
Students pursuing TCCs have the opportunity to pair two TCCs within the same program area, as listed in the published guidelines, to fulfill the requirements for the Accelerated Career Diploma (ACD). If a student wishes to combine two TCCs from different, but closely related program areas, prior approval from the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is required before enrollment. This ensures that program pairings align with industry standards and provide a cohesive educational pathway for career readiness. All while focusing on a specific career pathway that sets them up for success.
The “ACE” Grant covers the cost of the chosen pathway, and students must enroll in one of the 22 colleges within the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).
