The HDCI Logistics Task Force was created to address the ever-changing workforce needs of Georgia’s Transportation, Distribution, & Logistics (TDL) industry. The convergence of e-commerce accelerating demand for supply chain digitization, the port exponentially increasing its capacity to mobilize materials, unprecedented connectivity, and an ever-evolving economy has created a significant demand for a skilled logistics workforce and programs to support their success. Through a partnership with the Georgia Center of Innovation for Logistics, HDCI works with industry leaders and Georgia’s education systems to develop innovative workforce solutions. Their work includes expanding training opportunities for career pathways, addressing a shortage of CDL drivers, and integrating technology for a more efficient and effective talent pool.
