Description: Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Aviation Maintenance Technology Program Instructor at the GNTC Aviation Training Center at Russell Regional Airport/Towers Field in Rome. In addition, the successful applicant will advise students in the Aviation Maintenance Technology program and participate in institutional activities.

Required Qualifications:   FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant Ratings (‘A&P’); Three years’ paid work experience in-field within the last seven years. Work experience must include the competencies, skills and knowledge levels included in the Aviation Maintenance Technology instructional programs. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred: Associates, two-year, college degree (in field preferred); Post-Secondary Teaching experience preferred, curriculum development, and program recruitment experience in a two-year college environment. Excellent technology and classroom management skills.

Salary:  $65,000.00
