Marketing Internship 2022

NGTC will offer marketing internships to qualified students with skill sets that demonstrate ability and interest to acquire additional skills and education that may benefit the student. Such internships may be compensated, and academic credit may be possible through the high school Work Based Learning Program if arranged with and approved by the high school’s instructor.

Focus of the internships may vary due to the skill set of the students, and the marketing staff may request duties as needed that may be outside of the area of focus to meet the college marketing staff’s deadlines and priorities. Potential focus areas of internships may include graphic design, photography, videography, editing, news writing, special events, social media, and communications.

Marketing interns should use the equipment supplied by the college and refrain from using personal equipment for any projects.

Students interested in interning must complete an NGTC employee application online at https://careers.georgia.gov/jobs and be interviewed by the marketing staff. Compensation for internships may be $500 for 8 weeks of supervised work of 8 hours a week. Hours must be scheduled in advance with the NGTC Digital Communications Coordinator who will supervise the work and attendance of all marketing interns. Students may select the days and times to work. Any intern who is not able to work at the hours specified should immediately contact the marketing staff to communicate the change in work schedule as soon as possible.
