Math Adjunct Instructor, Part Time

North Georgia Technical College is seeking a Math Adjunct instructor to teach based on the semester system. Position is for Fall semester beginning April 22, 2022 and ending December 12, 2022. Class will be taught during the day at Habersham Central High School. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, teaching varying schedules to a diverse student body in accordance with the established syllabi, utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction. Provide students with appropriate course materials (syllabus, calendar, policy statements or guidelines) and utilize course management software efficiently and effectively. Adhere to course competencies in the preparation and delivery of quality instruction. Prepare and maintain competency-based course syllabi and support materials for all courses with effective use of course management software. Be knowledgeable of institutional policies and procedures the schedule is based on Habersham Central High School needs. Position is exempt.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Math


Master’s Degree in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the qualifying fields: Math or Statistics.

Preferred Qualifications: (In addition to minimum qualifications)

Teaching experience at the postsecondary level.

Salary/Benefits: Targeted salary is paid in a lump sum based on contact hours/No Benefits
