POSITION: Medical Laboratory Technology Program Director/Instructor – Home Campus –Marietta
(May be required to travel to other campuses or clinical locations as needed)
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Full-time twelve (12) month faculty position. This position is responsible for managing and providing leadership for the Medical Laboratory Technology Program. Job responsibilities include general program management, managing student enrollment, developing program curriculum, faculty development, managing fiscal and physical resources, and development of clinical relationships in coordination with the Clinical Coordinator.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Master’s degree
· Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field
· Current certification by ASCP as a generalist Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist
· Three years clinical experience
· Three years of teaching experience
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer literacy skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Familiarity with NAACLS program accreditation requirements
· Experience developing and assessing student learning outcomes
SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary – $81,400 annually. Benefits include: paid holidays, annual leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits Program.
