About the Training Fund
In October 2025, the United States Department of Labor granted the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) $5M for the Industry-Driven Skills Training Fund Grant. With this grant, TCSG will reimburse Georgia employers in advanced manufacturing, energy, and construction industries for upskilling new hires and current employees. These training funds will be disbursed during multiple application rounds.

The Industry-Driven Skills Training Fund (IDSTF) is a new initiative intended to support employers in training Georgians in the advanced manufacturing, energy and the construction industry. The federally funded grant program focuses on high-demand and high-wage careers, offering reimbursement for training new hires and upskilling current employees.
