Manager Fiber Provides leadership to wood procurement teams in meeting customer wood fiber requirements of volume, quality and cost in a timely manner. Manages all fiber flow at two or more mills. Manager Mill Mfg Excellence IV Responsible for the platform and process for managing improvement within the facility especially in the areas of fiber, energy reliability, productivity, engagement and customers. Coordinates the evaluation, identification and prioritization of mill performance improvement opportunities. Works with mill lead teams to integrate and prioritize Manufacturing Excellence (ME) initiatives for the facility. Typically found in a multiple machine, integrated mill with two businesses or large, complex single business
Manager Process Control III Oversees the analysis, planning and control of the manufacturing process for the production of pulp and paper products. Mill typically has greater than 3 businesses and medium complex processes as identified in the Mill Complexity Chart. Recommends changes to reduce safety hazards and health risks.
Manager Sourcing Technical Specialty Responsibilities include managing 150+ million annual spend for sourcing specialty products. Manages technically complex product offerings. Understands market trends, key drivers and competitive landscape to protect market share. Manages global supplier relationships with the global specialty product suppliers. May mange technical commercial aspects of new chemical trials and process modifications impacting specialty products at the sites, including dispute resolution. Category management is typically high risk and dynamic base don customer requirements and market factors. May have global responsibility.
Medical Nurse Occupational Health II Nurse (certified Registered Nurse) with significant experience in occupational health with certification in occupational and environmental health and/or case management. May act as the lead nurse and provide leadership and technical counsel to less experienced members of the nursing staff or act as single nurse at a medium facility (as defined by Corporate EHS) with a variety of occupational health programming. Conducts or monitors pre-employment physical examinations, periodic check-ups, diagnosis and treatment of work- connected illnesses and injuries. Reviews, analyzes and interprets test results of individuals and groups. Works with management to maintain optimum levels of health. Recommends medical and health policies and preventative measures of eliminating or minimizing industrial injuries and diseases. Develops and evaluates clinical protocols and practice guidelines. Develops case management programs, analyzes the risks of worksite hazards through risk assessments, manages data and information systems for trend analysis and program design, develops population risk reduction and tailors health surveillance programs accordingly. Monitors the quality and effectiveness of vendor services. Develops and evaluates health promotion and disease prevention programs, occupational and environmental health and safety education, and training and services. Evaluates workers' compensation.
Operations Maintenance Coordinator I The OMC position exists to coordinate the Operations and Maintenance functions within a manufacturing area to maximize the effectiveness of maintenance budgets and the reliability of equipment. The OMC will accomplish results by driving Reliability Best Practices into the daily business practices conducted within a Manufacturing Business Unit.
Scaler I Receives chip and/or wood trucks into the mill. Operates stick scales and/or weighs logs and chips on electronic scales. Checks and records quality and condition of wood received. May instruct drivers where to unload wood. May also weigh in and out other materials such as paper chemicals and scrap material.
Supervisor Laboratory Supervises chemical and physical analyses and tests required for research, development and quality control of processes or products. Typically 3 to 5 years experience.
Supervisor Safety Monitors and evaluates the workplace to ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations. Oversees the administration of Company safety policies and programs. Must have knowledge of safety laws. Requires the ability to identify and evaluate workplace hazards.
Training Specialist III Under general direction, organizes, prepares, and delivers ongoing technical training and education for department employees and/or end users. May design and develop in-house training programs. Develops and maintains documentation for custom applications and packaged applications using a variety of mediums. Typically more than 5 years experience.
