The 2025 WorkSource Georgia Academy Conference is assembling its elite force of workforce professionals on December 2–3 for a high-impact, intelligence-packed operation. The event is tailored for workforce development professionals and service providers. This year’s theme: Agents of Change.

Your assignment: infiltrate two days of top-tier sessions, decode the latest innovations in workforce development, and forge alliances with fellow operatives across the state. Communication Questions

Q: Do I have to pick sessions in the Whova app before the conference?

A: Doing so is entirely optional.

Speakers Info

Q: Do I need to email my headshot or bio to anyone?

A: An automated email was distributed to speakers that requested your headshot and bio via an online form. It will automatically appear on the Whova app and it’s the method for submitting all of your speaker info. You are welcome to edit your profile via the Whova mobile app as often as necessary.

Q: When do I need to have my bio and profile information submitted?

A: We recommend having your profile finalized by Friday, November 27, so attendees can view your latest information. You are able to edit your Whova profile whenever you like, but please be aware that last minute speaker bio changes after the date may affect stage introductions.

Q: When are PowerPoint Presentations due?

A: PowerPoint presentations are due to Mr. Tyler (tyjohnson@tcsg.edu) by Friday, November 21, so that we can compile them prior to conference. We appreciate your strict adherence to this deadline.

Registration Questions

Q: We registered Person A but they can no longer attend and we would like for Person B to go in their place. How can this be accommodated?

A: Unfortunately, we cannot transfer registrations between individuals. Please request a cancellation for Person A and have Person B register for the event.

Q: When do I use the QR code?

A: The QR code printed on the bottom left hand of your Whova registration confirmation email will be activated closer to the conference.

Q: Will each individual need to register? What email address should I use?

A: Each person attending will need to register. You will need to use the same email address for both registration and check in on Dec. 2. For this reason, we recommend using your work email for registration.

Q: I need to register my colleagues to attend. How can I do this?

A: Please register them by using their names and email addresses. For example, you need to register Charlie Bob and John Smith. Please do not register them “under your name.” Please register them using:

Charlie Bob – cbob@sampleemail.com
John Smith – jsmith@sampleemail.com

Registering your colleagues with YOUR name and email address will delay processing.

Q: What are common registration issues?

A: If you use a browser with saved logins, the form fields of the registration form may auto-populate to a name that does not match your own. Please double check the form for accuracy prior to completion to ensure timely processing.

Q: I submitted an incorrect name when registering. Why can you not edit an incorrect name in Whova?

Whova: “The order itself and accompanying confirmation email under attendee order is locked w/ the original name.” We will have to refund the order to correct the buyer name.

Q: When can I expect an invoice after registering?

A: Within 1 – 2 weeks.

Q: When is payment due for the conference?

A: Due by Dec. 2, the start of the conference.

Q: How much is the conference fee?

A: Speakers/OWD Staff/Board Members have a free registration. Non OWD staff is $300.

Q: How do I book a hotel?

A: Scroll up to view our Accommodations section. Hotel booking cut-off date is Saturday, Nov. 1.
