Retraining Tax Credit Application Process

The Georgia Tax Credit for Retraining of Employees provides tax credits according to the “Georgia Business Expansion Support Act of 1994” as amended. An eligible employer may be granted tax credits against its Georgia state tax liability. TCSG serves as the approver of Retraining Tax Credit applications. Please refer to the Retraining Tax Credit guide for information on eligible training and the process for completing an application.

Retraining Tax Credit Registration

Use this form to submit information for the Retraining Tax Credit Registration. A receipt of submission will be emailed to you after registration with a submission ID. There will then be a case created with the Economic Development staff, who will process your submission.

**  Please note that after registration and submission have been completed, there is a 30-day turnaround of approvals.  **
