Adult Education and Family Literacy Week
Each September, communities around the world celebrate literacy. Governor Kemp has proclaimed that September 8 – 14, 2019 be designated as Adult Education and Family Literacy week in Georgia. To celebrate, Georgia communities host student celebrations and honor community members and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to adult education and family literacy. This is also a crucial time to increase awareness about how important adult and family literacy programs are to our communities. To help you celebrate and increase awareness, we have put together this resource page.
