Description: This training is geared toward those LWDA staff who assist in Local Workforce Development Board operations for the local area. The content will provide information on the requirements under WIOA, State rules, and State policy regarding LWDBs, as well as focusing on best practices for carrying out these tasks. OWD will include real-life scenarios and questions gathered from LWDAs and discuss how to resolve them. Topics will include a review of membership and engagement, operations, posting and notice requirements, bylaws, and State oversight.
