ResCare Hiring Event

ResCare will host hiring events for Direct Support Professional (JobID:9229906003) each 2nd Wednesday of the month at Georgia Department of Labor Valdosta Career Center, 221 South Ashley Street, Valdosta, Ga 31601. Interested Applicants must have an employgeorgia.com account and rèsumè (existing rèsumè can be uploaded for new users). Go to the “Job Search” tab and select “Search Jobs” at the top of the page. Enter the Job ID #9229906003 and select “Go” to view the job details and request referral instructions.
While no two days are exactly the same, here are some things you will be responsible for:
-Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
-Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
-Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
-Encouraging self-help activities
-Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments
