WorkSource Georgia’s Youth Services Lead oversees a comprehensive youth employment program for eligible youth, ages 14-24, who face barriers to education, training, and employment. This broad array of youth services focuses on assisting out-of-school youth and in-school youth with one or more barriers to employment prepare for post-secondary education and employment opportunities, achieve educational and/or skills training credentials, and secure employment with an upward trajectory.
As WorkSource Georgia seeks to formalize its technical assistance protocols, the strategic populations team has developed a youth technical assistance roundtable series. This project is meant to serve as a more robust method to deliver technical assistance to youth managers and providers across the state. The goals of these roundtables are to increase dialogue across areas so that youth providers and youth staff are able to share similar concerns, ideas, and questions, so that we may provide more in-depth technical assistance to Georgia’s WIOA youth program.
