Which documents do I need to apply for the CPH Diploma program?
  • You need a copy of your high school transcript, if you ever attended high school. You will also need a state-issued ID and proof of lawful presence in the United States.
What 9 high school credits are required to complete the CPH Diploma program?
  • 2 English
  • 2 Math – (specifically Algebra and Geometry)
  • 2 Social Studies
  • 2 Science
  • 1 Health/Personal Fitness
  • *Students who are 18-20 years of age must have 5 or fewer of the required 9 high school credits
How do I get a copy of my high school transcript?
  • You will need to contact the Board of Education in the city or county where you attended high school to request a copy of your high school transcript.
How long will it take me to receive my high school diploma?
  • The length of time to complete the CPH Diploma program varies based upon how many high school credits you need to complete and which college program you choose. Most students complete the program within 18 months
Which technical colleges offer the CPH Diploma program?
    There are currently 10 technical colleges who offer the CPH Diploma program. Those colleges are:

Can I take my classes online?
  • High school classes are offered online and are designed to be completed in 8 weeks or less. Students work at their own pace. Courses are taught by Adult Education faculty. Students may take high school and college courses at the same time, high school courses only, or college courses only.
How much does it cost to participate in the CPH Diploma program?
  • High school courses are not assessed tuition or fees; all materials, including textbooks, are available in Blackboard. College courses are assessed tuition, fees, and textbooks, but there are a variety of funding sources, including scholarships and grants, to help reduce or eliminate these costs.
I attended high school through my 10th grade year. Will any of the credits I earned in high school be accepted?
  • Yes, if they are any of the 9 required high school credits for the program (2 English, 2 Math, 2 Social Studies, 2 Science, 1 Health/Personal Fitness).
