Sean T. Casey has served as Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency’s (GVRA) Executive Director since October 2016. He leads the organization in its mission to serve individuals with disabilities on the path to career success and greater independence.
Before joining GVRA, Sean was the Department of Administrative Service’s Assistant Commissioner of Government Affairs. He previously held a role as Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Revenue and worked in Governor Nathan Deal’s Office and the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget.
Sean’s service on behalf of GVRA extends back to 2012, when he led a team that worked to pass legislation making the organization independent. He remains committed to innovative strategies to maximize work opportunities for people with disabilities. Sean’s philosophy is that the client is always first, followed a close second by the counselors and field staff who serve them.
