The majority of the technical colleges have SkillsUSA chapters. Membership in SkillsUSA affords students the opportunity to demonstrate occupational and leadership skills by competing in state and national competitions. SkillsUSA State competitions are held annually in the spring and the national competitions are held in June. At the annual-level SkillsUSA Championships, over 5,200 students compete in 91 occupational and leadership areas. At the state level, approximately 500 students compete in about 64 occupational and leadership contests.

SkillsUSA Georgia Postsecondary delegates voted for, and we installed the 2023-2024 state officer team. The state officer team then participates in intensive training and team building sessions to further prepare them for their year in office. The officers were also evaluated on their leadership potential, personal characteristics, knowledge, and commitment to our organization, which resulted in the designation of their individual officer positions.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to introduce your 2023-2024 State Officer Team!
