POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

 

POSITION:   Automotive Instructor

QUICK LOOK:

  • This position is a Full-time, 12-month faculty position.
  • This instructor will join our fantastic Automotive Faculty team and teach all AUTT courses in the Associate Degree and Diploma in Automotive Technology.
  • The Automotive faculty work together to meet department, division and college goals.
  • In addition to teaching, Automotive Faculty members advise students, track inventory and maintain all instructional spaces (including labs).
  • Prior teaching experience is a plus, but is not required!

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate Degree in Automotive Technology or a closely related field
  • ASE Certification in the areas taught
  • Basic level of computer skills is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Work experience as an Automotive Technician
  • Work experience as an Automotive Service Manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • ASE Master Technician certification in all areas
  • Teaching experience

 

SALARY/BENEFITS:  Salary- $63,100.00 annually.  Benefits include: paid holidays, annual leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits Program. Please be aware that all Chattahoochee Technical College employees are paid by DIRECT DEPOSIT unless exempted by the State Accounting Office based on “hardship” evidence provided by the employee.
