Position: Program Chair for Electrical Construction Systems Technology and Industrial Systems Technology
Location: Athens Campus
Department: Division of Business, Industry, & Technology
Reports to: Divisional Academic Dean
Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement course materials that support stated initiatives and use the appropriate techniques to provide students with the knowledge needed to achieve the learning outcomes for all Electrical Construction Systems Technology and Industrial Systems Technology courses that are offered.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Electrical Systems Technology, Industrial Systems Technology, or a related field from an academic institution that is accredited by an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education.
- Three (3) years full-time documented work experience in either teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Systems Technology, Engineering, or a related field from an academic institution that is accredited by an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education.
- Documented unrestricted state electrician license.
- Documented experience with Instrumentation and Controls.
- Documented post-secondary teaching experience.
- Knowledge of BlackBoard LMS.
- Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
